Great location, great food and good wine

Outstanding wines, views and most important the people. Very delicious Weissburgunder and Riesling, our favourites. The 2018 Red is great. And the Jaegerschnitzel, hmmm or Spundekaes. We missed this years "Schlachtfest" , booked out. Next year.

The outside area of ​​the "Tannenhof" is one of the most beautiful places in the Rheingau for us. You have a fantastic view of the Rhine Valley and nature. Here you can really relax, especially when the wine tastes as good as that from the Tannenhof estate bar. But - it can also get very fresh outside. A note from the employees to the somewhat hidden seat cushions or even a small blanket if it is blowing outside would be very, very attentive in the transition period and would certainly be gratefully accepted. The menu could also be a little more varied and creative, even if the food itself is okay. You can't just leave all the stars to tradition, wine and mother nature .... A look from the boss into the pots of neighboring similar companies can serve as a source of inspiration.
